What is ClearCorrect®?

ClearCorrect® is a type of orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear aligners to straighten teeth over a period of time. Each aligner is custom-fitted to the patient’s teeth using advanced 3D imaging technology. And unlike traditional braces, this aligner is removable so you can enjoy all your favourite food without worrying about affecting your treatment progress.

How Does It Work?

The series of aligners gradually guide your teeth into the desired position over the course of your treatment. Each aligner is worn for approximately two weeks and is then replaced by the next one in the series. With daily wear, your teeth will move in small increments until your desired results are achieved.

Who Can Benefit From ClearCorrect®?

ClearCorrect® is suitable for anyone who wants to fix teeth misalignment. Specifically, these aligners can address the following dental problems:

Gaps

Spaces in between teeth can be caused by a number of factors, including missing teeth or overgrown gum tissue. Aligners can close these gaps when used properly.

Overcrowding

Overcrowding occurs when there are too many teeth in the dental arch which cause them to be overlapping each other. Aligners can fix displaced teeth and bring them into proper alignment.

Open bite

When the back teeth don't come together properly, it can result in a gap between the top and bottom rows of teeth. A gap like this can lead to eating problems and speaking issues.

Deep bite

A deep bite occurs when the upper front teeth protrude too far over the lower front teeth, resulting in an uneven smile, facial muscle pain, and jaw issues. Orthodontic appliances like ClearCorrect® can help correct it by moving the upper and lower teeth into proper alignment.

Crossbite

Crossbite is when the back teeth are on the inside of the front teeth. This can cause a number of problems, including uneven chewing forces. This can be corrected with the use of aligners to gradually shift the teeth into their proper alignment.

Midline shift

Some malocclusions are caused by improper alignment of the jaws, which can result in an off-centre appearance of the upper or lower arch. Aligners are a non-invasive and effective option to correct problems on shifted teeth.

Overjet

An overjet occurs when the front upper teeth protrude too far over the lower teeth, causing mouth-closing problems. Orthodontic treatment such as aligners can treat an overjet by gradually moving the upper front teeth into better alignment.

Edge to edge

Edge to edge is when your upper front teeth collide with your lower front teeth, resulting in difficulty chewing and speaking. ClearCorrect® aligners can fix edge to edge problems when worn correctly and continuously.
